Zenfersco scowls at how Sarendi fails then passes her and quietly in Even says "You go I'll distract" then grabs a book "Basic Camping: Improvised survival" then walks up to the Shopkeeper and says "How much for this book? I'm going on a quest and I don't want to die out there. You know how it is." he pauses "You seem a reasonable and nice man could I get a discount of some kind?" then he smiles a nice friends and polite smile at the man.

Birdgod never left his nest and went to a store, so he is talking to a tree. The tree tries to explain to him that he cannot comply with the request- it's not like he's made of bows and arrows or something- but sadly, Birdgod does not speak arboreal, so he cannot hear the agitated tree's words.
