Eilen, who had been silently observing, decides to head outside. She finds a nice place to sit and starts humming to herself while toying with her new bow.

Sarendi walks to the general store, somewhat upset about her coins reaching 30.

Zenfersco desides to see what Sarendi is up to so he goes to the General store after her.

Sarendi, before entering the store, turns around to see Zanfersco there, "Hi."

When they enter the store, they find it's owner, a bald old man with a large grey mustache stooped over, polishing a single bottle over and over.

Sarendi, not wanting to bother the old man, she begins to look at what the store has.

Zenfersco just scans the room and waits for Sarendi to be done.

The store is packed tightly with barrels and shelves containing a variety of raw materials, foods and drinks, tools, adventuring gear, and books.

Zenferscowalks over to the tools and inspects them.

Sarendi walks over to the opposite side of the room and looks at whatever is there.

In the tools barrels there are a few pickaxes, hatchets, longsaws, fishing poles, fishing nets, hoes, scythes, spades, and chisels.
On the other side, on the bookshelf, there are a few skillbooks, including such classics as "Common Language: For idiots with complicated halfbreed characters", "Basic Camping: Improvised survival", "Basic Woodcutting: Ensuring your wood is the biggest", "Basic Mining: The wonderful world of rocks", "Basic Farming: Cows aren't vegetables", and "Advanced Woodcutting: Lumberjacking".

Sarendi takes the "Basic Camping: Improvised Survival" book off the shelf.

The book has been sealed with a magic rune to prevent it from being read unless purchased, but there is a blurb on the back of the book.
"This wonderful first book by the legendary adventurer Fyhtan will teach you everything you need to know to camp in the wild without getting yourself tangled in your own tent."

Sarendi puts the book back on the shelf and turns around to look in a different section nearby. Any section.

On a shelf hanging from a wall are various bottles. You recognize the first two rows of bottles as containing water and milk, respectively, but you haven't seen the others before, red and blue liquids and a yellow powder.
