The gem that Dedrick grabs morphs instantly, taking the form of a Lupine Blade {Power:7 Reach:1 Weight:Light Endurance:25 Value:100g SlashI PierceII FrostI}. This blade, being of Artefact magic, does not deteriorate naturally, and so is not affected by your plague while you hold it. (But like your stone sword, applying your plague directly to the blade will still harm it)

Eilen is disappointed to again find that her blade dissipates before it can fully form.

Zenfersco does not obtain a sword either, but butchers the Worg's corpses to obtain 12 portions of raw meat.
Does anyone else want to claim any of the gems? If not, I will allow Eilen, Dedrick, and Zenfersco to each take a second one.

Eilen sighs at her failed gem, but decides to take the untouched hides and bones. Certainly she can use them for crafting later. She hopefully plucks a second gem from one of the bodies.

Zenfersco after a failed attempt goes to a new body and picks the fangs off them then try's to get another gem If possible.

Eilen takes the 18 fur and 28 bones, and attempts to take another gem.

This gem finally stabilizes, and Eilen receives a Lupine Blade.

Zenfersco also receives a Lupine Blade, along with the 12 fangs.

Eilen silently follows the group, almost blindly, entranced by her new sword. It even seems just her size, surprisingly. She accidentally bumps into Mathias' leg before apologizing and sheathing it loosely under the strap of her bag.
